The event was endorsed by Princess Tharwat Al Hasan, Honorary President of JOPS, and sponsored by Nestle Nesvita as part of their regional bone health initiative announced in June.

The event featured several entertainment, fashion and cultural acts, in addition to a quiz provided by the International Osteoporosis Foundation, highlighting the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyle in maintaining strong and healthy bones.

Dr. Efteem Azar, President of JOPS said on the occasion,

"The Jordanian Osteoporosis Prevention Society has been raising awareness and supporting scientific research in the field of bone health since its foundation in 1998. This fundraiser aims to collect funds for this purpose, and we thank Nestle Nesvita pro-Bones for supporting our efforts in this regard."

The event is one of many other activities on the agenda of Nestlé Nesvita pro-Bones for the coming months, according to Samah Al-Manzalawy, Nestlé Middle East, "We aim to support as many local osteoporosis societies as possible around the region to help them promote bone health in their communities, in close coordination with the Pan Arab Osteoporosis Society. Hopefully our combined efforts would yield good results in the near future by reducing the numbers of Arab women at risk of osteoporosis, and enabling them to lead active lives with strong and healthy bones."
