Following on from 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs', Reel Cinemas will continue to show an entertaining line-up of 3D titles throughout September and after, including the 3D release of the original worldwide hit 'Toy Story'.
According to Mr Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Retail, the addition of 3D Digital Cinema will further reinforce the reputation that Reel Cinemas is gaining for delivering the ultimate cinematic experience.
Mr. Amiri said:
"Movie-goers are constantly looking to enhance their cinema experience and it is important that we strengthen our offering in order to meet their growing expectations. The launch of 3D Digital Cinema and other soon-to-come features such as THX-certification are a reiteration of the superior audio-visual technologies we are employing at Reel Cinemas."
Reel Cinemas at The Dubai Mall is operated by Reel Entertainment LLC, a joint venture of Emaar Retail and Singapore-based premier entertainment provider Cathay Organisation Holdings Ltd.
Mr. Suhaimi Rafdi, Chief Executive Officer, Cathay Organisation, said, "Reel Cinemas in Dubai is setting a trend in offering state-of-the-art movie experiences. The addition of the new 3D Digital cinema will further add to Reel Cinemas' appeal and will also add to our capabilities to deliver a stronger film portfolio for viewers."
All 3D Digital movies will be screened in Cinema 5, which seats up to 215 ticket holders.
Reel Cinemas features state-of-the-art projection and audio visual systems as well as ergonomically designed seats with the widest legroom for utmost comfort. An online booking function has been created for guests to pre-purchase movie tickets.
