SKMC announces working hours during Eid Al Fitr Holiday

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) managed by Cleveland Clinic announces the working hours in all its facilities during the Eid Al Fitr Holiday.
The Family Medicine Clinics of SKMC (Al Bateen, Al Khaleej, Al Manhal, Al Mushrif, and Al Zafaranah Family Medicine Clinics) and Dental Centers (Abu Dhabi Dental Center and Al Dhafra Dental Center) will close on the 30th day of Ramadan and the first day of Eid; however, the clinics will officially open their doors for patients from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm on the second and third day of Eid. Regular working hours will be followed in these clinics after the third day of Eid.
The Outpatient Specialty Clinics and Infusion Center will be fully closed on the 30th day of Ramadan and the first day of Eid and they will be partially open on the second and third day of Eid from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. The clinics will fully open as their regular schedule after the third day of Eid. In addition, the Outpatient Clinics of Behavioral Sciences Pavilion (BSP) will be closed on the 30th day of Ramadan and the first day of Eid. They will open from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on the second and third day of Eid.
Moreover, Al Madina and Al Ettihad Centers will be open from 8:00 am until 12:00 midnight as their usual schedule 7 days a week.
Dr. Scott Strong, CEO of SKMC said, "These hours of operation reflect our response to the demands of the community during the holiday of Eid Al Fitr, and demonstrate our on-going commitment to provide premium healthcare services".
Patients also have around-the-clock access to SKMC's Emergency Department, the major trauma center in Abu Dhabi, for life-threatening cases such as allergic reactions, broken bones, chest pain, difficulties in breathing, fever in young infants, head injuries, medication overdoses, motor vehicle trauma, poisoning, seizures, severe abdominal pain, serious burns, serious wounds, and vomiting and diarrhea in young children. The Emergency Department also includes a 10-bed area specifically designed for children.
Patients can also visit Al Khalidiyah Urgent Care Center, which never closes, for urgent cases that are not life-threatening and can usually be treated without visiting the Emergency Department. These conditions include disorders such as mild abdominal pain back pain, coughs/colds/flu, earache/sore throat, eye problems, mild-moderate asthmatic episodes, minor lacerations, rashes, sprains, urinary symptoms, and vomiting and diarrhea in adults. The Khalidiyah Urgent Care Center consists of 19 modern treatment rooms and a pharmacy. X-rays and some blood tests can be performed at the Center, which is staffed by 16 physicians, 43 nurses, and 59 clinical technicians as well as administrative personnel.
SKMC Administration areas will be closed on the 30th day of Ramadan, as well 1st, 2nd and 3rd day of Eid. Regular working hours will be followed after third day of Eid.
