Due to remarkable results the site has achieved at the international level, Talasim.com has received support and financing from Queen Rania Center for Excellence (QRCE) and Royal Jordanian to represent Jordan in this competition.

Winners of the first five places in the competition will receive partial financing from Seed Camp Program.

QRCE's director, Mohammad Khawaja commended the capabilities of Arab youth and their huge potential, underlining the acquisition and partnership deals Jordanian websites have seen recently, foremost of which maktoob.com.

Khawaja said these unprecedented achievements would not have been made without the attention His Majesty King Abdullah bin Al Hussein has paid to the sector.

He added, "Despite its young age, Talsim.com has reached the finals in one of the most important international competitions to reflect the potential of Arabic web content providers and their brilliant performance in modern sciences," underlining that the site has won the second prize in QRCE Prize in the 'Best Action Plan' category.

For his part, Talasim.com's co-founder and marketing manager Zeid Al Qudsi pinpointed e-advertisements' high technical advantages and interactive features as elements that are absent in conventional advertising tools.

He also underlined the fact that web-based ads can be controlled, oriented and followed up throughout the various stages of the campaign, among other advantages that are prone to render the advertising campaign a success.

For his part, Talasim.com's co-founder and business development manager Sabri Hakim outlined the site's points of strength and excellence vis-à-vis other Arab sites and the electronic services that are presented in a humorous fashion, encouraging Arab youth to express their opinions in a spontaneous way.
