Enoc appoints new General Manager for Global Technology Services

Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) has appointed Ayman Arafeh as the new General Manager of Global Technology Services (GTS), the information technology (IT) subsidiary of Enoc.

Arafeh brings in over 22 years of experience in the IT sector having held different positions in software development, sales, operations and general management.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, Enoc Group Chief Executive, said that the appointment of Arafeh will lead the company's ongoing growth and bring a new direction to the overall activities.

"Arafeh has a clear mandate to take GTS to the next level by transforming the company into a more disciplined, service-oriented, and customer-focused operation while upholding the shareholders' operational objectives. We welcome him on board and wish him the best,"

Khoory added.

Arafeh has been working with Enoc for the past four months as advisor and has demonstrated excellent leadership capabilities and extensive knowledge of GTS business. Prior to joining Enoc/GTS, he was the Chief Operations Officer of Optimiza, the leading public IT shareholding company in Jordan, and previously he was General Manager of Computer & Engineering Bureau (CEB), one of the leading IT companies in Jordan, which was later acquired along with other seven companies under Optimiza.

Arafeh said, "Over the years, Enoc has positioned itself as a forward-looking group that complements the ambitions of Dubai. My main objective, within my new role, will be to provide the highest standards of service to our customers and build long-term fruitful partnerships locally and internationally."

GTS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Enoc, provides a spectrum of IT consulting and implementation services to regional and international markets across a range of industries from oil and gas to banking and finance.
