On this occasion, Mr. Ebrahim H. Ebrahim, the Chief Executive Officer and Board member of KHCB said:
"KHCB is keen, through the partnership in this program; to providing support to programs designed to train university graduates that will qualify them in joining banking and financial institutions and to develop them through practice. This initiative on the part of KHCB is part of the Bank's social responsibility and is a well-conceived ongoing contribution for the benefit of the community in which we operate".
Mr. Ebrahim added: "There is no doubt that the program offered by BIBF and TAMKEEN is one of the leading programs in this field. The Bank is keen to support such programs in order to attain the desired objective."
BIBF's Director, Garry Muriwai, said "It is pleasing to have the KHCB partnership in place supporting our training program for the selection and training of graduates for leadership positions within the Kingdom's financial institutions. Having KHCB join 13 other major financial institutions in the program reflects both the importance of the graduate program and in particular KHCB's visionary attitude in the current climate supporting the development of Bahrain's young graduates and strengthening the country's human capital."
The program is divided into four areas including the selection and preparation of graduates for work and training for a certificate of professional competence, as well as for post-graduate training.
Eligible graduates will be invited to join the program by advertising in the media and by visiting universities to introduce the program first-hand to undergraduates.
