Emirates Post joins Dubai Quality Group as a strategic partner

Dubai Quality Group (DQG) has announced today that Emirates Post have recently joined the group as an Investor Partner.

The partnership aims at reinforcing the quality level of services provided by the post and enabling it to implement initiatives and strategic plans in order to expand its operations through its network of over 100 post offices.

The group indicated that this partnership falls within the framework of the efforts played by both parties to support the sustainable development plan in the UAE with regard to the achievement of the quality and excellence in organizational performance.

Mr. Osama Al Rahma, Vice Chairman of Dubai Quality Group, said:

"The new partnership will definitely provide Emirates Post with the needed consultancy and information to consolidate its position as an organization concerned with quality of postal and non-postal services; and thereby strengthen the position of the UAE by making available solutions as a developed and integrated service."


He added, "It has become necessary to maintain the commitment to organizational excellence and high quality standards in order to maintain a competitive and leading position at the global level in light of the challenges faced by enterprises and service organizations in all parts of the world."

On his part, Salem Al Shaya, Emirates Post Deputy Executive Director, pointed out that this partnership will enhance quality management within Emirates Post and provide its departments with the necessary tools in order to continue dealing with quality initiatives within the framework of organizational excellence.

He added, "We, at Emirates Post, believe that the shortest path to success and excellence at all levels is achieving the highest standards of quality, not forgetting to look forward the implementation of joint projects with Dubai Quality Group."

He added, "We have accomplished major achievements and have successfully advanced our postal services beyond UAE. We have signed important agreements with international postal, public and private organizations, in addition to those signed with public and private organizations in the UAE, in order to achieve our vision of transforming post offices into a multi - service offices that could easily serve the public."

The partnership was announced in a meeting attended by a number of senior officials from both the organizations, where Mr. Salem Al Shaya received the Investor Partnership Certificate from Mr. Osama Al Rahma. DQG also presented a trophy to Emirates Post appreciating its efforts in the field of quality and excellence.

Emirates Post is one of the active units of the 'Emirates Post Holding Group' which include 'Wall Street Exchange', 'Electronic Document Center', 'Emirates Commercial Postal Services (EMPOST)' and 'Emirates Marketing and Promotions'.

Dubai Quality Group is a non-profit organization that aims to spread quality concepts among organizations through its regular quality programs and consultancy services. These programs and services contribute in improving the performance levels of local business sectors.
