The duo will present their latest, powerfully influential leadership concepts in a full-day, interactive event, combining very practical leadership case studies and examples.

Scott, already well-respected around the world for his pioneering ideas on management issues, will present live and in person at the event. He is an accomplished author in his own right (co-author of Leverage Your Best, Ditch the Rest and Leading at a Higher Level).

Ken, who is the co-author of the bestseller One Minute Manager, which has sold more than 13m copies in over 30 languages, has had a huge influence on both strategic and day-to-day management of people and companies all over the world. He will present live at the event via a two-way link-up, so delegates can ask questions directly to him.

Tina Schneidermann, president of Global Leaders, said: "The conference programme is designed to help aspiring leaders to find out more about the long-term impact of leadership on organisational productivity and profitability.

"With both speakers taking part, the Blanchards provide a unique view of how leadership is changing in a modern, globalised world."

Expanding on the ideas presented by his father, Scott Blanchard will share the results of a year-long study that explored the connection between leadership effectiveness, employee passion, customer devotion, and organisational vitality.

He will demonstrate that creating an organisation that is successful starts at the top with a clear organisational vision and by making sure that your people have what they need to succeed. The quality of the culture, the quality of management practices and the alignment of these practices to key strategic initiatives all rest with leadership.

Great leaders know that the formula for success in today's competitive business environment starts by creating a motivating environment for employees, which results in better customer service, which leads to higher profits.

Ken and Scott Blanchard will present Pioneering Leadership and Employee Effectiveness for Organisational Success at the Intercontinental Regency Bahrain on November 11, 2009. For more details of the event, go to the website>
