Asiacell celebrates with the graduates of its telecom training course

As part of their aspirations to develop the skills and abilities of the Iraqi people, Asiacell celebrated the graduates of a telecom training course that was recently conducted for students in the engineering faculty in the Salah El Deen University.

The month-long course ended with a ceremony that brought together members of the Asiacell team, members of the engineering faculty, in addition to students participating in the course.
The ceremony took place in the gardens of the "Tareen" restaurant in Irbil and included the distribution of certificates and tributes to outstanding students. The students expressed their happiness to be participating in this valuable course, articulating their appreciation of the efforts that are being put forward by Asiacell in hosting this course, which has enriched their learning experience and provided them with new insights to the telecom sector, and hence will positively influence future professional careers.

Commenting on this step, Dr. Diar Ahmed, Asiacell's CEO, said:

"This course aims at developing the capabilities of Iraqi students, and expanding their horizons through involving them in educational activities that are outside their curricula. This reflects our commitment at Asiacell to having a positive impact on the youth of Iraq and its people, stemming from our national directions towards building a new Iraq through developing the capacity of youth and honing their skills, which will in turn help strengthen our infrastructure and quicken the pace of economic development."
