"We're delighted that IMC chose our platform in developing the 'I'm Connected' prepaid value proposition. The Microsoft Hosted Exchange provides business-class unified messaging services that improve worker productivity, collaboration and information sharing. The platform does not require a separate server or additional software installations, thus affording users even more cost benefits, besides full mobility and everywhere access, as well as cache memory features that make emails as well contacts, agenda tasks and other important files and data available even when users are offline. This is the power of our Software - plus - Services vision and strategy" said Ahmed Yahyaoui, Sales Manager at Microsoft, Middle East & Africa
ITE Distribution, a leading IT distribution company headquartered in Dubai (UAE), joined this initiative to offer the "I'm Connected" scratch card bundled with Palm Treo mobile phone in the region.
Using the "I'm Connected" scratch card is as simple as it sounds. Once the end user buys a mobile phone such as Palm Treo through ITE Distribution, they will get a scratch card with three months of free usage included.
Once the account has been activated, the customer can not only benefit from real time push on their mobile phone but also access their inbox from internet browser or Outlook on their PC. If the customer chooses to continue using the services, all they need to do is contact the reseller and get their account topped-up.
International Mobile Communications also offers professional solution targeting small and medium scale enterprises through a network of local partner.
