"e-Billing is a crucial step in taking the lead in serving our customers electronically,"
said Batelco Group General Manager Media & Government Relations Ahmed Al Janahi.
'Go-E, Save a Tree' is a free service that allows customers to access their bills at anytime online, as well as receiving their monthly bill directly through their email account. Customers also have the option to pay the bill through the e-Billing site, by credit or debit card.
"We have introduced e-Billing to meet customers' demands. This has been one of the most heavily requested services due to the increasing popularity of electronic services which are easy to use and environmentally friendly," said Mr. Al Janahi.
"During its first month since launch, there has been a very positive response to Batelco's e-billing service. We have seen thousands register for e-services in recent weeks, with the majority signing up for e-billing and also ticking the box to cancel their paper bill,"
he added.
