'Make A Difference Day' at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi

The 29th of October, 2009 will be the 'Make a Difference Day' at the Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi which purpose is to raise funds for the Special Care Centre in Abu Dhabi that caters to the care and needs of children with special needs.

The Special Care Centre has been set to provide a comprehensive educational, therapeutic, self help skills, social skills and vocational training programme for disabled children. The Centre, which is a charity based and relies on donations from companies and individuals, has a lot of children and follows the principal of 'Help Them to Help Themselves'.

The theme of the event will centre on a specially constructed Fun Village for kids, where a variety of activities will take place. Ranging from games and entertainment, through face and sand painting, fishing games, a grand parade and a raffle.

Announcing the event, Mr. Moritz Klein, General Manager of the Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, said:

"Now more than ever, organisations such as Special Care Centre rely on help from the public, this event presents an ideal opportunity to make our contribution."


The 'Make a Difference Day' will run from 3:30 p.m. till 6:30 p.m. "This is a family day, bring your kids along for a good time and a good cause," concluded Mr. Klein.
