Foreign investors purchase Dhs1.003bn worth of shares on DFM during last week, sold Dhs977.4m

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week, September 20 - 24, reached Dhs1.003bn comprising 37.7% of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dhs977.4m comprising 36.8% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached Dhs25.3m during the same period, as aggregate buy.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dhs569.9m comprising 21.4% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dhs401.6m which constitutes 15.1% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached Dhs168.3m during the period, as aggregate buy.
