IHF attracts more than 3000 visitors each year and will be held at Amman Exhibitions Park between the 27th and 29th of October 2009.

Exhibitors from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates as well as the USA, the Netherlands, Germany and various parts of the world, will gather at IHF to showcase their latest products and services available to the hotel and restaurant industries, and seek contracts within the vast opportunities presented by the new investments in the tourism and hospitality sectors. At least 15 new 5-star hotels are currently under development in Amman, Ajloun, Aqaba and at the shores of The Dead Sea.

On display at IHF will be a wide range of products including food & beverage; franchise and management; software; kitchen & laundry equipment; hotel amenities; tabletop; furniture, furnishings and linen; hygienic products, educational institutions; hotels among others.

Visitors to IHF this year will get a chance to attend several presentations and learn the latest industry tips. The Training Zone offers free training on a range of interesting topics such as 'Hospitality and Business Etiquette', 'Sales Techniques' and 'Customer Complaints'. Aimed at empowering the workforce within the hospitality industry in Jordan, these workshops will be delivered by Better Business; a Jordanian company specialized in the development of organizational behavior and human resources.

The Culinary Art Show remains IHF'S most popular feature with over 150 chefs from different hotels, restaurants and various establishments in Jordan competing in 16 categories that cover pastry, baking, international and local cuisine, canapés and many others. Chefs will compete with one another in both live and display competitions such as The Live Cooking from the Basket, Traditional Arabic Mezza, Sugar Floral Showpiece and The Live Sandwich Competition to name a few.

The Culinary Art Show is also well known for its prominent and well acclaimed members of the jury. Judges from France, Spain, Holland, UAE, Cyprus and Lebanon, will leave their countries for a week to embark on a journey to Jordan to judge the participants, alongside other judges from Jordan, and help them further develop their abilities, skills and craftsmanship.

The vibrant colours of Asia merge together this year as an Indian breeze takes over the theme of this year's Table Setting Display. Other features at IHF 2009, include the Bed Making and the Bartenders' competitions that provide employees working in the housekeeping and bartending field with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their skills and talents.

The International Hospitality Forum remains a true benchmark of quality and professionalism that inspires local and regional businesses, and ensures that top decision makers and leading professionals continue to return each year to witness developments in the tourism, hospitality and foodservice sectors and plan for the future.
