The Ethan Allen Design Center covering over 12,160 square feet is now open in The Dubai Mall, the most extraordinary shopping destination in the Middle East.

The company plans to use the Dubai launch as a springboard to launch its Middle East expansion and has further stores planned in Abu Dhabi, Doha and the rest of the GCC.

Two professional American Designer Professionals will be featured at the Dubai Ethan Allen Design Center - Karen Moore and Gloria De Filippo, to provide complimentary advice to customers.

Veteran Ethan Allen design consultant Karen Moore is from St. Louis, Missouri, where she has designed for Ethan Allen for more than ten years. Her strengths include space planning, style and trend knowledge, and expertise in the creation of the fully finished room - down to the last detail. Karen Moore comes to Dubai with a mission: to lead the Ethan Allen Dubai professional design team in creating beautiful, comfortable rooms that reflect each client's personal style.

"I tell my clients to surround themselves with things they love and let it be my job to create harmony from all the parts," says Ms. Moore.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Gloria De Filippo studied Visual Merchandising at New York City's renowned Fashion Institute of Technology. After moving to South Florida in 1985, she earned an Interior Design degree and has been licensed by the Florida Board of Architecture to practice as a Professional Interior Designer since 1990. Her primary professional expertise extends to an exclusive clientele of luxury custom home developers in Palm Beach, Florida. She also has experience with many aspects of residential and commercial design. Gloria was also the owner/operator of an interior design business until she came to Ethan Allen in 2008.
