Bespoke magazine announces official selection for its annual Ultimate Awards

Bespoke magazine today announced the official selection for its annual Ultimate Awards, which are presented as a culmination of a year's achievements and awarded in recognition of outstanding excellence in the field of Middle Eastern luxury life.

Nicolas Shammas, Editor-in-Chief of Bespoke magazine, says:
"Despite all the negative press, this year has been a particularly strong one for many in the luxury industry. It's bizarre that few in the media actually recognize how luxury industries have enriched society, not just economically, but also intellectually, technologically and culturally."

Shammas adds, "We are particularly pleased to announce this year's leaders because they reflect the pioneering spirit. Luxury brands and those managing them have shown that they are continuing to bring tremendous value to society."

Now in its third year, the 2009 edition of the Ultimates drew an initial assortment of over a hundred possible candidates, which was then narrowed down by an independent jury of ten industry leaders. With categories covering the seven main sections of Bespoke magazine's various departments, the final Grand Winners will be revealed in the November-December 2009 issue of Bespoke magazine.
