Kuwait Finance House implements new system to electronically manage documents

AGM for IT at KFH Dr. Waleed Al-Hassawi stated in a press statement after signing operational contract with Image Technology Company (ITEC) represented by its Gulf CEO Eng. Mohammed Al-Dereeni, that the new system was operated after it was tested, where it showed great success and accuracy, in addition to flexibility, saving capacity, and ability to save additions and development suggestions for the IT personnel at the bank.

He added that during the testing period, the system absorbed in one of KFH six sectors more than 20 million document and 350,000 paperwork. The data is retrieved in 30 seconds only, mentioned Al-Hassawi, who explained that the system is very safe and no one can access it, except for the authorized personnel only.

Moreover, Al-Hassawi considers activating DocuWare a huge leap forward in handling documents at KFH, and paves the way for achieving a more universal objective, which is to unify identification papers for the client at all KFH sectors, and to renew them automatically, where the client does not need to present the same papers more than once at KFH sectors, such as the civil ID, salary certificate, and others. KFH can also save its daily history through saving audio documents and video, in addition to written documents, in a central and secure electronic storage that provides safety from fires and robbery.

Furthermore, he mentioned that the IT Sector at KFH aims to present suitable technological tools to increase the employee's productivity and save efforts and time, which will be reflected on the level of services offered to clients.

Meanwhile, Al-Dereeni expressed his company's pride in working with such a leading Islamic institution, and added that KFH's eagerness to implement DocuWare system reveals its keenness to benefit from the most advanced systems that save effort, time, and cost.
