"This is the second year in a row we are organising this tournament and the response we have received has been overwhelming. The primary objective of this tournament is to create an opportunity for non professional young players in Saudi Arabia to play in a highly competitive environment that will enable them to effectively display their skills,"
said Eng. Mohammed Rashid Al Ballaa, Founder and Chairman of National Technology Group.
"As a corporate entity, we are keen to contribute in every possible way to the development of the local community and we believe that engaging the youngsters in their favourite sport is one step in this direction," he added.
The winning team and the runners up were presented trophies by representatives from various NTG companies. In addition to arranging for a well-equipped football pitch, NTG also lent logistical support for the event, in terms of first-aid and medical equipments, professional referees, security and refreshments for the players.
