- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, September 30 - 2009 at 09:32
Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), in partnership with the Building Schools Exhibition and Conference - Middle East and North Africa (BSEC Mena), has launched the Future Schools Design Competition for students to develop school designs over a series of phases of the competition. The three-phase competition involves participating schools developing a journal outlining the goals of their project. It also requires students to learn about sustainable practices which they will be encouraged to apply to their design, and to work with Abu Dhabi-based architects to help them plan for the creation of a model. The winning designs will be displayed at the Building Schools Exhibition and Conference-Middle East and North Africa (BSEC Mena), which will be staged at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on December 13 and 14, 2009.
