Consumer electronics giant joins hands with Major Electronics in the Middle East

The Rowa product lines include Plasma Screen Televisions, DVD Players, VCD Players, Home Appliances and Audio Systems. This range is now available in UAE and Oman through various retail outlets.

Great Wall Cybertech, a Hongkong based US$600 million company has made substantial investments in electronic research and development institutes in the US, Japan and China. Being the Original Equipment Manufacturer for some of the world's best brands in consumer electronics, Great Wall launched the ROWA brand in 1997 to capitalise on its manufacturing and technological expertise. ROWA provides consumers with high-end technology and high quality at value for money prices.

Major Electronics, is a new joint venture between Mr. M. R. Chhabria of Jumbo Group and Mr. Mohammed Sultan Saeed of Dubai Marketing.

This venture shares the same vision and mission that governs other successful organisations of Mr. Chhabria. Major Electronics currently handles Accton, Sitix and Citizen in addition to ROWA, and is on an aggressive growth path by strengthening its distribution network throughout the Middle East, South Asia, Central Asia and Africa.
