Chief Executive Officer of Manufacture Roger Dubuis, Matthias Schuler, made the following statement in respect to the partnership with Damas: "Damas is a pioneer of the luxury industry in the Middle East and Roger Dubuis is synonymous with high quality and luxury. We are confident that this partnership will help us to achieve further growth within the Middle East market and we look forward to the year ahead."

With expansion plans across the Middle East in the pipeline, the new partnership is seen as the first step for Roger Dubuis towards making its mark in the Middle East's connoisseur markets in Haute Horlogerie.

"We believe that Manufacture Roger Dubuis is a brand that epitomises the spirit of this region - rooted in the strong traditions of the past while reaching out to the future. With our new partnership with Damas, we want to tap into a market of discerning watch and jewellery collectors and enthuse and entice them with our powerful designs and traditional craftsmanship."

said Matthias Schuler.

Damas, a home-grown watch and jewellery retailer established in 1955, has established a network of operations across Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Italy and India. Roger Dubuis will be sold exclusively at Damas locations across the Middle East and India.

Unveiled for the first time in the Middle East today, the Excalibur Double Tourbillon Skeleton is a Manufacture Roger Dubuis icon that is a standard of watch-making excellence in international markets. Part of the EXCALIBUR range, the Double Tourbillon Skeleton houses the skeletonised version of Roger Dubuis' Emblematic Double Tourbillon movement, proudly harbouring the 'Poinçon de Genève'- Geneva Seal - on its front. Today it is one of the most complicated watches on the market and a true collector's item.

"Uniqueness, creativity and quality are the bywords of the Middle East luxury market and with Roger Dubuis, we are introducing a new outlook in design and a different level of quality craftsmanship to this market. This is an exciting partnership and we are honoured to lead the way in for the brand," stated Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director, Damas.

About Roger Dubuis
Roger Dubuis was founded in 1995 and, since then, has been injecting its DNA with resolutely new and bold genetic codes. Positioned on the cusp of haute horlogerie and adhering to its exacting and exclusive criteria, the brand established its head office in 2001 in Meyrin / Geneva, where two buildings housing ultra-modern industrial equipment were constructed for the Manufacture. In scarcely eleven years, the Manufacture has created its 28 complicated, often highly complicated, movements. While their technical characteristics require the most traditional horological savoir-faire, the production and manufacturing rely on cutting-edge expertise.

All Roger Dubuis movements bear the 'Poinçon de Genève' quality hallmark and, since 2003, have been equipped with the Manufacture's own balance-spring, positioning the brand's products at the very apex of prestige haute horlogerie in Switzerland.

Ten collections have been created since 1996, each a powerful personality of the brand's unique identity. An exuberant and original jewellery line was added to its portfolio in 2004. In search of a new lease of life, the Roger Dubuis Manufacture joined Richemont (one of the world's leading luxury goods groups) in 2008, becoming the ninth watch manufactory to join this very exclusive group. This is an extraordinarily favourable union for the 'enfant terrible' of Geneva's exclusive watchmakers as it will benefit from all the advantages that come from being a member of Richemont.
