Ayman Gharib, General Manager of Al Ain Rotana commented,
"If you compare the new Al Ain Rotana with 3 years ago, you will find that this property has been growing. Apart from all the completed projects, there are 2 new developments in the pipeline to be completed before the end of 2009. These include the new all-day dining restaurant which will replace the famous old Gardinia, as well as one tennis court."
Since 2008, the hotel has grown rapidly. April 2008 saw the opening of the new extension called "Premium wing". Simultaneous to this launch, a new health and leisure club was established and opened within the same building. Bodylines is a state-of-the-art gymnasium with Technogym equipment, Sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, 2 squash courts, 2 massage rooms as well as a new fitness studio where fitness activities take place. In addition to all of these, 1 tennis court will be launched on 15th of October which will add even more value to this health and leisure centre.
In October 2008, many were amazed by the opening of Moodz lounge bar. It was the first time that such a venue had been opened in the calm city of Al Ain. Moodz is having a resident DJ and is quite well-known for its unique interior as well as the trendy environment. Special theme nights and events are being held at Moodz, allowing people to break their usual routine and enjoy new experiences.
In April 2009, Min Zaman, the favourite Lebanese restaurant of Al Ain's residents, was moved to its new location. This authentic outlet is located at the heart of the hotel with an extended sitting area in the terrace where people can sit and relax while overlooking the pool as well as the garden. Min Zaman offers shisha and traditional Lebanese cuisine with the finest ingredients where the most attractive part is its entertainment. There is a one man show, singer and belly dancer performing every evening. This restaurant is one of the most famous Lebanese restaurants in town, where good food and appealing entertainment create a memorable experience for all the diners.
The most important upcoming opening at Al Ain Rotana is the new all-day dining restaurant. This outlet which will be the newest hotel restaurant in town, will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and feature live cooking stations. "Our target is to be fully operational by December 2009, where we will introduce a whole new concept in Al Ain, focusing on Teppanyaki style (live cooking)." said Ayman Gharib. He continued: "Being the only 5-star hotel in town, we are aiming to introduce as many new concepts and facilities as possible in order to give the truly Rotana hospitality to all our guests and clients."
