Dubai Silicon Oasis to showcase Urban Community at Cityscape Dubai 2009

The eighth edition of Cityscape Dubai will be held from 5-8 October at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Located at Hall 4, senior officials at DSO's stand will answer visitor's queries on the Urban Community's components, including the office towers, R&D and industrial zones, educational institutions, luxury apartments, villas, hotels, healthcare and a full range of lifestyle facilities that will translate into a dynamic commercial and social environment.

Positioned as a 'city within a city', the Urban Community aims to provide a balanced lifestyle for people to live, work and play, complementing DSO's mission of creating a universally recognized state-of-the-art technology oasis. The development also includes the 1,047-unit Cedre Villas project.

Shahla Ahmed Abdul Razak, Deputy Chief Executive at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, said: "We have successfully attracted leaders in the technology industry to set up their businesses within DSO. Cityscape Dubai 2009 aims to bring together more than 80,000 high-ranked real estate investors, developers, financiers, consultants, government bodies, architects, and urban planners. In 2008, more than 70,000 visitors attended the four-day industry event.
