UAE monitors Toyota for faulty cars

The UAE's Ministry of Economy is in contact with Toyota to ensure no cars are sold in the UAE market with the manufacturing defects seen in the US. If there are defective cars in the UAE, they will be immediately withdrawn, Dr Hashim Al Nuaimi, Director of the Ministry of Economy's Consumer Protection Department, said. "So far, no Toyota car has been withdrawn from the market as defects were not found," he told Emirates Business 24/7.
