As part of a classification system that was unveiled two years ago, the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) aims to establish standardization for the hospitality industry, set a benchmark for tour operators selling the emirate, manage the expectations of visitors to the city, and ensure a quality performance level in line with the development of a world-class destination. Properties are rated on a scoring system that includes accommodation, infrastructure, guest service and dining and entertainment facilities.
