Kuwait Energy offers international kick-start career opportunities

Kuwait Energy Company, one of the leading independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in the Middle East, announced today its participation in the Kuwait Career Fair organized by the Kuwait international Fair K.S.C. between October 5 and October 7 at the Kuwait International fairgrounds, presenting students and employees with experience with rewarding growth and career development opportunities in Kuwait and the region.

Kuwait Energy is one of the fastest growing independent oil companies in the Middle East and North Africa, with operations in 19 blocks across six countries, including Yemen, Egypt, Oman, Latvia and Ukraine. The company has been profitable from its first operational year in 2005 and continues to be profitable since then.

Kuwait Energy Human Resource Manager Shahad Boland said:

"We are bringing great opportunities to students who are about to enter the workforce. Kuwait Energy's recruitment program provides fresh graduates with the opportunity to learn from the best in the oil and gas field by working side-by-side with experts from over 25 different nationalities and by working in challenging yet and rewarding environments across the region. We are targeting to attract the best available in the job market and will invest in fresh, young minds that can contribute as well as learn from the company's growth and success to become highly-skilled, internationally competitive professionals."


She added: "During the fair, Kuwait Energy HR team will hold job interviews and will offer the possibility to directly submit CVs on the company's site."

Established in 2005, the company has registered a net profit of $30m in 2008, while its total revenue rose by 470% to $176m during that same year.

Boland concluded: "Kuwait Energy is embarking on an ambitious growth plan and we hope the bright minds of Kuwait will become the leaders in our upcoming progress."
