Emirates Advantage allows customers, in the UAE, who purchase their ticket online greater flexibility when paying for their flight.

Selected ADCB, Citibank, Emirates Bank, HSBC and NBD credit card holders can now select the option to pay for their ticket at 0% interest, over three monthly instalments, allowing them to travel now and pay later.

Khalid bel Jaflah, Emirates' Vice President Commercial Operations UAE said:

"In the current economic climate this type of payment plan is expected to be extremely appealing to our wide and varied customer base. Emirates Advantage gives customers the flexibility to pay for their ticket over a period of three months, allowing them to travel without the burden of full upfront payment."

"Choice has always been, and remains, an important part of the Emirates online proposition. When booking a flight online customers have the opportunity to select their flight based on the best available fare and travel time, choose a particular seat and even opt for a specific meal based on dietary requirements. Emirates is wholly committed to providing our customers with the greatest level of customer service and Emirates Advantage is yet another aspect of our well rounded service offering."

Consumer trends and spending habits have changed over the last 12 months with people increasingly looking to hold on to their cash in favour of alternative payment options. Emirates Advantage provides that option, allowing customers to make their booking, take their flight and pay for it over a three month period.

Earlier this year Emirates also significantly upped the baggage allowance across all three cabin classes by a generous 10kg, allowing customers to shop during their vacation without worrying about excess baggage. Economy Class passengers may now check-in 30kg, Business Class passengers are allocated 40kg ad First Class passengers 50kg.

Emirates Advantage is currently available to customers in the UAE who book and purchase their tickets online using their ADCB, Citibank, Emirates Bank, HSBC or NBD credit card. Terms and conditions apply.
