The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that this week's BD25m issues of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 416%.
The issue date of the bills is 07 October 2009 and the maturity date is 06 January 2010.
The weighted average rate of interest is 0.67% compare with 0.75%, for the previous issue on 23 September 2009.
The approximate average price for the issue was 99.832% with the lowest accepted price being 99.826%.
This is issue No.1254 (ISIN BH000A0T9ZN3) of Government Treasury Bills. With this, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills is BD325m.
