Emirates Foundation offers science grants

The Emirates Foundation for Philanthropy has said it will provide grants for original, innovative research proposals which focus on Science, Engineering and Information Technology development issues, Wam has reported. The grants, which will be provided over a maximum period of two years, are part of a project that aims to enhance the presence and role of science-based organizations working for the betterment of UAE society, the foundation has said. The due date for submission of research proposals is November 1, 2009. The proposals will be evaluated by external reviewers and awards will be announced by November 30, 2009.
