Royal Jet Medical Evacuation will have its own stand at the Congress and will promote the fact that its specialist medical staff consist of paramedics and intensive care nurses, as well as doctors and consultants who specialise in neo-natal, paediatric and adult clinical disciplines.
Royal Jet has also recently appointed a new Director for its Medical Services - Dr Ibrahin Casin Soto, who is a South African citizen joining Royal Jet from his positions as Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health in Polokwane in Limpopo Province, South Africa, and Chief Flight Doctor for Net Care 911, where he notched up more than 300 flying hours with critically ill patients in aero medical evacuation services.
Royal Jet's President and CEO, Shane O'Hare explained that Dr Soto is joining a company that has already built for itself an impressive reputation. "We are the preferred supplier for the GHQ, the armed forces, government health authorities and numerous medical insurance companies and we already serve destinations as far afield as Europe, Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the US and other destinations within the Middle East," he said.
"Dr Soto's extensive experience in medical evacuation will undoubtedly serve this company well in the months and years ahead and I would particularly like to welcome him to the Royal Jet family where, I am sure, he will keep us at the forefront of the medical evacuation sector and further enhance our leading position in the region,"
O'Hare added.
Royal Jet's Medevac aircraft include Gulfstreams, Lear Jet 60 and ultra long-range Boeing 737 Business Jets. Based in the Middle East, Royal Jet offers a very rapid reaction time, creating a strategic link between locations in Asia and Europe, using only the latest equipment.
