Cathay Pacific welcomes new Country Manager for UAE and Oman

Mr. Clement Au has recently been appointed as Cathay Pacific's Country Manager for UAE and Oman.

Clement joined Cathay Pacific in 1998 in the Engineering department. Since then, he has worked in many departments in Cathay Pacific including Marketing, Revenue Management, Customer Information Systems and the Canadian office of Cathay Pacific. His previous posting, before the UAE, was in the Product department looking after in-flight entertainment programming and materials for Cathay Pacific and Dragonair.

The aviation sector in the Middle East, especially the UAE has shown continuous growth and Clement looks forward to challenging and interesting times ahead. Increased trade between China and UAE also offers an excellent opportunity to further strengthen Hong Kong's position as the major gateway to China from/to the UAE.
