Popular multi-brand clothing boutique Studio 8 will be presenting the highly-anticipated finale sequence of the 6th Annual BurJuman Breast Cancer Survivors Fashion Show on October 23th, where women who have bravely fought and survived breast cancer will showcase the latest in fashion on the runway. Supporting the show will be various other retailers from the mall.
The Dubai Chamber is providing outreach support throughout the month, strengthening the education aspect of the campaign by sharing pertinent information with their large network of government employees, clients and customers. A firm believer of corporate social responsibility, Dubai Chamber also has their own internal 'Making it Our Business' breast cancer awareness campaign, of which BurJuman is a charter partner.
uniCare Medical Center, which recently relocated to BurJuman, has also signed on to support the Safe and Sound campaign. The clinic has been dedicated to health awareness since its inception and regularly holds seminars regarding common health issues. Expert knowledge and advice will be provided by uniCare's doctors, who vary in specialization from 12 different areas of medicine, which will help spread a well-rounded message. In addition to this, the clinic has kindly agreed to offer free physical examinations for women throughout the month of October. Female visitors to BurJuman who are interested in availing this offer can pick up a health voucher at leaflet distribution points throughout the mall and at the mall information desks.
A firm supporter of breast cancer awareness campaigns wherever they have a presence in the world, Tokio Marine Insurance will also be supporting Safe and Sound this year by getting involved in outreach initiatives, making the best use of qualitative and quantitative resources from its client and customer databases.
