Meeza to remain at forefront of IT services technology with its new innovation service

Meeza Labs is the latest addition to Meeza's wide range of IT services and solutions and will help position Meeza at the forefront of innovative IT service provision across the region.

Meeza Labs will examine and monitor a diverse range of areas such as state issues and innovation challenges and will carry out in- depth IT research and education. It will also develop close ties with private and public labs to accelerate Meeza's innovation process.

Dr. Jaouad Alkhaliki, Director of Meeza Labs, said:

"I'm delighted to be joining the dynamic team at Meeza. As Director of Meeza Labs I will be tasked with helping Meeza's operation team validate technologies and provide them with early access to other technologies. Together our aim is to establish Meeza as a thought leader in the Mena region, actively contributing to establishing Qatar as a knowledge-based society."

Dr. Alkhaliki brings 15 years of experience in a number of industries including IT, petroleum, digital media, automotive, aerospace, bioscience and manufacturing.

Prior to joining Meeza Dr. Alkhaliki held various senior positions in Renault and IBM where he was responsible for innovation, strategy and technology advisory. He led and delivered cutting edge projects which required a profound understanding of the IT industry specifically in distributed computing, grid technology, simulation, design and engineering solutions.
