Batelco's Industrial Training programme, which is part of the company's social obligation to the community, provides students with work experience opportunities to help them enter the work market with confidence.
Students, who are annually selected in collaboration with some of the Kingdom's universities and institutes, gain valuable experience at Batelco through participation in a variety of tasks assigned to them based on their level of qualification and area of study.
"Being a responsible corporate citizen, we have a duty to provide training opportunities for Bahraini future leadership talent and thus contribute to the achievement of the Kingdom's 2030 vision. Enhancing the education of the Kingdom's future industry leaders forms an important part of Batelco's annual financial commitment."
said Batelco Group General Manager Human Resources, Shaikh Ahmed Al Khalifa.
The students who have been trained within Batelco this year include 54 from the University of Bahrain, 39 from Bahrain Training Institute, 6 from other local universities and 1 studying overseas, as well as 25 students from the Ministry of Education.
