IGI is dedicated to serving the diamond, coloured stone and jewellery industry. For the second consecutive year, IGI will provide its expertise to participants through a unique laboratory at the show that will offer buyers the opportunity to have diamonds graded, assuring them of the items' characteristics, quality and origin.
"Consumers today have become ever more demanding and quality conscious about the products they buy," said Roland Lorié, CEO, IGI worldwide. "Previously, stones and jewellery available to interested buyers were uncertified, therefore they could only rely upon what was communicated by sellers or on their own personal knowledge. Gem certification and improved standards in the industry, including independent gemological reports for gems and jewellery have now become vital tools in the trade components."
Naji El Haddad, Show Manager, Reed Exhibitions, said:
"We are very proud to bring IGI's know-how and expertise to the UAE capital. All JWS' visitors who purchase jewellery at the show will benefit from the opportunity to grade their diamonds and will also benefit by brushing up their knowledge on diamond grading or colored stones' quality and features through daily specialized seminars during the show."
Every year, the JWS features renowned global luxury brands including collections from Brazil, the US, Italy, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Turkey, Jordan, KSA, Bahrain, Lebanon and UAE.
Participants will have the chance to purchase some of the finest pieces from exclusive designer brands and trendsetting jewellery displayed at the Jewellery and Watch Show. Visitors will have access to competitions and the chance to win valuable prizes.
