Boris Provost, Exhibition Director of the Dubai Show, said:
"The demand we received from exhibitors, visitors and the media have been overwhelming. Earlier this year the global fashion industry was one of the first sectors to be hit as soon as the recession set in but the Arabian Gulf is preparing to emerge from a state of flux, to see growth. Organisers expect over 5,000 regional and international buyers to visit the show over the next three days."

The three-day Who's Next & Premiere Classe event is set to provide insight and a glimpse into the Spring Summer 2010 collections with over 200 designers and brands from over 16 countries showcasing the trends, cuts, fabrics, colours and materials for upcoming season.

Visitors can expect to see and engage with famous womenswear designers such as Didier Ludot, American Vintage, Cotelac or Charlie Joe, urban labels such as Little Marcel, Redskins or Teddy Smith, as well as fashion accessory designers such as Repetto, Marc Rozier or Robert Clergerie.

Some highlights of trade show includes a special conference on the 'Future of Retail' by Nelly Rodi, the Paris-based trend-forecasting agency on Monday, October 12, at 5pm onwards at the Rashid Hall (inside the trade show) restaurant area. The conclusion of the much anticipated Abaya Competition will take place as well which is a style exercise based on the Abaya as a tribute to Arabia, the host region of the Shows.

The Dubai Show is poised to encourage new brands into the region as its strategic location proves to be the ideal meeting point for visitors and exhibitors from the Eastern and Western markets.

The recently concluded Who's Next & Premiere Classe Paris shows that took place in Porte de Versailles earlier last month saw record attendance of nearly 60,000 visitors, proving to be one of their best years yet with a staggering 36% increase compared to the January 2009 show which saw a 5% increase from the 2008 show attendance.

The Who's Next & Premiere Classe trade shows are developed and organised by WSN Development, they attract investors, buyers, consultants, models, retailers, distributors and fashion designers and design specialists.
