SNS announces its first supply chain conference for the Middle East

SNS, the leading provider of supply chain services in the Gulf and Middle-East, is pleased to announce the launch of its first annual supply chain conference, a yearly event addressing the most recent economic factors affecting the logistics industry and the challenges they present.

The first conference entitled 'Is Your Supply Chain Ready for the Economic Recovery' will be held at the Bristol Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon on the 9th of December 2009.

The conference will host a number of leading supply chain and logistics professionals in the Middle-East, sharing strategies, tactics and ideas on equipping supply chains to cater for the expected economic up-turn. The event will be a chance for attendees to participate in informal networking and discussions with fellow industry professionals, learn the best practices being applied to enhance companies' supply chains performances and identify investment opportunities to optimize their operations. Attendees will also get introduced to leading supply chain services providers and will find out how technology is being used across the supply chain to reduce costs and increase productivity and efficiency.

Speakers at the 2009 conference include chief executive officers, senior executives and management who are involved at different levels of procurement, manufacturing and materials management, as well as people responsible for contracting, outsourcing, warehousing and logistics and other supply chain activities in the business enterprises.
