FVC demonstrates the world's only, fully Immersive Telepresence from Polycom at Gitex 2009

Demonstrations of the Polycom RPX will include live sessions between the FVC stand and FVC's Executive Briefing Centre in Dubai Internet City and other end points in Europe. FVC will also share Polycom's interactive ROI calculator to help the visitor understand how they can save costs, time and minimize their carbon footprint through customer tailored systems.

Added to immersive telepresence, FVC will also announce Polycom's latest range of products for the small, medium, and government enterprise businesses including the Polycom RMX 4000 conference platform, a reliable and highly scalable multipoint solution that supports customers' complete range of conferencing needs, and a comprehensive video network management system combining the Polycom Converged Management Application (CMA), Polycom CMA Desktop, and the Polycom Video Border Proxy (VBP) line of network-aware firewall traversal systems.

Polycom will also announce the availability of its RSS 4000, a high-capacity solution for recording, streaming and archiving video conferences, including conferences and telepresence meetings in HD resolution.

FVC and Polycom will showcase its solutions at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Stand Z-L1, Zabeel Hall taking place Oct. 18-22, 2009.
