Burgan Bank hosts IMF and World Bank Annual Meeting reception in Istanbul

In continuation of its support of premier global financial organizations, Burgan Bank hosted a reception at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Annual Meeting in Istanbul on the 7th of October 2009, in association with KIPCO and its subsidiary banks.

The event was attended by eminent names in international finance and business as well as high profile officials and managers from various banks the world over.

Stating that the association underlines the Bank's commitment to supporting the global finance profession and to help further the interest of its members, Burgan Banks Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Lyon added:

"We are honored to support this meeting attended by senior executives from the financial sector. This important annual event provides delegates with opportunities to network in a global environment and establish economic developmental strategies and policies."

Burgan Bank was represented at the same by Mr. Faisal Al Ayyar, Vice Chairman - KIPCO, Mr. Tariq AbdulSalam, Chairman - Burgan Bank, Mr. Majed Al Ajeel, Vice Chairman - Burgan Bank, Mr. Jonathan D. Lyon, Chief Executive Officer - Burgan Bank, CEO's of the subsidiary banks, board members and senior divisional general managers.
