In his new role, Ameen will assume responsibility for the daily operations of Banquet Sales Management, reporting to Yves Tarabout, Executive Assistant Manager i/c of Sales, Marketing, and Front Office.
Ameen joined Sheraton Doha in January 2002 as a Room Service Manager. He progressed through variety of positions and responsibilities at the hotel, and accepted his first Banquet Sales assignment as the Banquet Sales Manager of the property in April 2005.
Tarabout said, "I am proud of Ameen's achievements and I'm looking forward to the wealth of ideas and energy that he will bring to the table as Sheraton Doha prepares for an influx of conferences and events this coming quarter."
Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel has been known throughout the Middle East as the preferred venue for major national and international conventions and conferences with 26 meeting rooms accommodating up to 3000 delegates.
