The partnership agreement between IDS Scheer and Ejada follows research by the market intelligence firm IDC that positions Ejada as the second largest IT services and solutions company in Saudi Arabia, and the number one custom application development and applications consulting and customization provider.
"IDS Scheer is a market leader in the BPM space, and this is a market that we've been looking to grow in for some time,"
said Ashraf Osman, executive director at Ejada.
"Enterprises are realising how BPM solutions can enable them to better plan and manage change and risk in their organizations, and by working with IDS Scheer we believe that we can offer Saudi corporations better returns on investment from their technology."
IDS Scheer's ARIS solutions enable organisations to support any initiative aimed to increase their business performance or lower its operating risks.
For example, government agencies and commercial companies can use it to standardize and improve its business processes.
Such improvements lead in turn to shorter cycle time, higher quality of work results and ultimately, higher citizen or customer satisfaction. ARIS is also tightly integrated with the SAP application system, the leading software package in the ERP area.
Its use during the SAP process design and implementation projects results in a better match between business needs and IT support. It also lowers the costs across the whole SAP system life cycle. Such benefits are facilitated by the ARIS Value Engineering methodology, tailored for use during SAP projects.
"We've been operating in Saudi Arabia for the last five years, and we've been looking for partners who are committed to the BPM space. As one of the largest, most professional service providers in Saudi Arabia and the wider region, Ejada will add significant resources and abilities to our channel in the Middle East. We're excited by the potential of our relationship with Ejada," said Grzegorz Gruchman, Managing Director, IDS Scheer Saudi Arabia.
With customers such as SABIC, the Ministry of the Interior, and Al-Inma Bank, IDS Scheer already has a strong client base in Saudi Arabia. Ejada's Osman believes that by leveraging off global partnerships with software companies SAP and Oracle, both of whom have strong presences in Saudi Arabia, takeup of IDS Scheer's BPM solutions should increase.
