MFNCA hosts workshop on operations management

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MSFNCA) organized a workshop focusing on operations management in the ministry's offices in Abu Dhabi.

The workshop highlighted the link between operations management and the Sheikh Khalifa for Governmental Excellence programme. It detailed the various aspects of operations and the methodologies adopted. The workshop was attended by MFNCA employees in the presence of the directors of the ministry's directorates.

The workshop is part of a training plan launched by MFNCA reflecting its strategy to improve workplace practices by implementing new governmental performance standards.

His Excellency Tariq Lootah, Director General of MFNCA, said training activities at the Ministry will be accelerated taking into consideration the key directives of the Federal Government's strategy to further empower workforce.

He added:

"We see serious interest and a high level of participation from our employees as we aim for higher levels of performance reiterating the UAE government's strategy of achieving excellence. We are committed to adopting and sharing innovative practices at the workplace. The workshop helps build skills and capabilities in the workplace and enables our workforce to simplify work procedures."


The workshop witnessed interactive discussions between employees on a number of topics including developing operations management and delegation of power and responsibilities.
