FAS adds helicopter sightseeing to the list of activities available in Abu Dhabi
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, October 13 - 2009 at 16:19
- PRESS RELEASE
Falcon Aviation Services (FAS) was formed in early 2006 under the initiative of HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed al Nahyan with the prime objective of filling the significant gap in the aviation market through the provision of innovative products and services.
Offering a wide range of services such as private jet charters, aircraft Maintenance & Management, military and Oil and Gas support, FAS has also successfully operated sightseeing tours for the past two years in Dubai, carrying over 20.000 passengers.
"FAS has now developed a similar offer to fill the gap of aerial sightseeing services in Abu Dhabi," said Faisal Al Rawas, Vice President Sales and Marketing. "The terminal is strategically located next to the marina mall and will be base to exciting helicopter tours over the capital's most iconic landmarks such as The Emirates Palace, The Corniche, Yas Island, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque"
With a capacity of up to 3 helicopters and a jetty to welcome Seaplanes, FAS will initially offer 20 and 30 minute tours that can taken on an individual or an exclusive base. Tours will be operated on an Eurocopter EC130 or Bell206, both providing fully air-conditioned cabins, leather seats and panoramic windows for an optimal view out of each sit.
And to enhance the experience, FAS has put all efforts into offering first class service: a comfortable and luxurious lounge where passengers can wait for boarding featuring a fully air-conditioned terminal, flat screen televisions, WIFI connection, refreshments upon arrival and a friendly and professional team of Customer Service Agents.
FAS is expected to launch the Abu Dhabi Operations in late October 2009 and will be targeting both tourist and local markets through an extended marketing campaign and strategic partnerships with Hotels and destination Management Companies
