Opennet introduces new vendor, Zimbra's new collaboration suite at Gitex 2009

Opennet Middle East and Africa, the authorised distributor for Red Hat and Zimbra in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena), will be introducing its new vendor, Zimbra, to its existing partners and customers at this year's Gitex.

Zimbra, a Yahoo! company, is the leading open source server software for email and collaboration and provides a set of end-user and administrator benefits that make it a flexible solution for deployments of all sizes, from SMEs to multi-thousand user enterprises. It is the first time that Zimbra will be present at Gitex.

Zimbra will launch its Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) 6.0 for the first time in the region. The most significant upgrade to the Zimbra software to date, ZCS 6.0 further extends its open Zimlet platform to third-party developers and improves enterprise collaboration through a host of new community-driven features such as expanded calendaring, sharing and enhanced mobile support - ideal enhancements for Zimbra's business, service provider, education and open source customers.

Opennet MEA will also promote the latest RHEL 5.4 from Red Hat along with new middleware offerings from JBoss. Opennet offers a full complement of services and support for Red Hat in the region from official Training and Certification courses to local call centre support.
