Emarat signs lease agreement for petroleum tanker

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" entered an agreement with United Arab Company for Chemicals Tankers, for the lease of the Motor Tanker (UACC Consensus) for the transportation of petroleum products.
Engineer Omar Abdullah Al Shamsi- Logistic & Trading Manager at Emarat, signed the agreement on behalf of the Corporation. And on behalf of the United Arab Company for Chemicals Tankers, the agreement was signed by the Company's CEO Mr. Ians Gronning, in the presence of Capt. Ahmad Zain Al Din, Manager Supply & Shipping, and Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Shuwaihi, Supply & Shipping Coordinator at Emarat, and Mr. Mathew Philip, the manager of BRS Ship broker- Duabai.
In accordance with the agreement, the tanker will transport Emarat's needs of petroleum products between the ports of the Arab Gulf and the UAE. The vessel UACC Consensus was built in 2005, and its total capacity is 45,800 metric tons.
