Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts signs Guy Epsom for four new Dubai properties

Epsom is a highly experienced sales and marketing professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry and in the region. He will oversee the sales, revenue management, distribution, communications, PR and marketing for the four properties.

The upcoming properties, under the UAE-based holding company Seven Tides, include the Mövenpick Hotel Deira, a business hotel located in the heart of Deira, the Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel adjacent to the themed Ibn Battuta Mall, the Asian styled Royal Amwaj Resort & Spa located on the outer crescent of the Palm Jumeirah and the ultra-hip Oceana Hotel & Spa located on the trunk of the Palm Jumeirah.

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, an upscale hotel management company with 12,000 employees, is represented through over 90 hotels existing or under construction in 26 countries with a concentration in its core markets of Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

The international hotel group with roots in Switzerland is expanding and has a stated objective of increasing its hotel portfolio to 100 by the year 2010.
