FAS offers a wide range of services such as private jet charters, aircraft Maintenance & Management, Military and Oil & Gas support, and helicopter sightseeing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and is also involved in carrying passengers during major taking place in the region.
A key element of the Grand Prix event is the use of FAS private jets to bring in VIP, Owners, Teams and Fans to the capital, Abu Dhabi. Over 10 of FAS' helicopters have also been mobilized in transport and in support roles.
In conjunction with the Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management (ADMM), Falcon Aviation Services (FAS) will therefore be providing a commercial heliport facility serving the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix event.
Craig Kennedy, Vice President Operations for Falcon Aviation Services, quotes:
"We are expecting a lot of movement coming from several operators and from all parts of the U.A.E during the three day event and need to ensure the highest level of safety."
This morning Operators met at the Officers club in Abu Dhabi. "It was a well attended meeting," says Kennedy walking out of the presentation. "Representatives of Etihad, Abu Dhabi Aviation, Dubai Airwing were all present to name only a few [...] All operators are now briefed and all the necessary planning is now in place throughout the concerned departments to cope with the high volume of helicopters into and out of Yas Island," he adds by finally highlighting that "Safety remains our primary concern."
