Riverbed to highlight IT infrastructure performance solutions at Gitex 2009

At the Riverbed stand #Z-Q5, the company will highlight the benefits of its comprehensive wide area network (WAN) optimization solutions, including Steelhead appliances, Riverbed Services Platform (RSP), Steelhead Mobile and Cascade appliances, to key Middle Eastern industries.

Riverbed IT infrastructure performance solutions allow businesses to free themselves from common IT constraints and increase the performance and value of their existing infrastructure and mission-critical applications such as file sharing, email, backup and recovery, document management systems, IT tools, ERP and CRM solutions.

The qualification means that joint customers can now deploy Riverbed WAN optimization solutions deep into their largest data centers with confidence.

Riverbed has also strengthened its partnership with Microsoft by providing enterprises with distributed workers and offices the best possible performance for their Microsoft-based applications and services. Customers are now able to run Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008, including branch services such as Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, media streaming and print services, on the RSP.
