The DT300, which is exclusively made -to-order, is the highest capacity available for a USB in the market, and positions Kingston Technology as a leader in this high-capacity USB arena. Kingston Technology will be present with their partners Mindware and Logicom.

A key focus area for Kingston Technology will be promoting the adoption of Solid State Drive (SSD). Kingston Technology will showcase its latest SSDNow series of solid state drives, including the recently launched SSDNow V+ Series that is available in a wide range of capacities, and has higher and faster performance specifications to meet demands of performance-seeking users. Live demonstrations of the SSD vs. HDD will be conducted at the Logicom stand in hall 3, where comparisons will be made based on speed, capacity, convenience, and other features.

Kingston Technology will also showcase its HyperX memory range comprising memory modules for notebooks, desktop PC's and flash in addition to its other high capacity USB's such as the 128GB and 64GB flash drives.

Antoine Harb, Business Development Manager for Kingston Technology, said:
"The need for storing tremendous volumes of data on a convenient device that has more capacity than a normal USB, is driving the adoption of SSD. An increasing number of laptop and netbook users are finding the SSD a more convenient option over the HDD due to its portability factor, size, speed and storage capacity."

Harb added, "The demand for memory products has increased with both businesses and consumers creating tremendous volumes of data requiring memory-based storage on mobile devices. This has led Kingston Technology to develop the world's first high-capacity USB flash drive to address the challenges of storing data on the move. Owing to the large number of visitors, Gitex Technology Week presents us with the perfect opportunity to introduce the 256GB USB flash drive to the region."

"Kingston Technology has been experiencing unprecedented growth in the Middle East and Africa across all of our product lines in the past year, and we would like to utilize our presence with our partners to particularly promote our mid-range products for professionals and end-customers. Our focus will also be the secure USB range that includes the DataTraveler series that provide the highest level of security available in the market today," he said.

Kingston Technology is located at Mindware located in hall 4, stand D4-11, and Logicom located in hall 3, stand B3-1.
