"Our new ultra-slim laptops now bridge the gap between small mini-notebooks like our Mini NB200, which are optimised for content consumption, and full performance ultra-mobile laptops like our Satellite U500,"
says Santosh Varghese, Regional General Manager, Computer Systems Division for Toshiba Gulf.
Designed to get the "Wow" factor
As most consumers value their small mobile devices as very personal companions and want them to reflect their own personality, both newcomers come in either an elegant Precious Black or a more eye-catching Iron Red Metallic with a stylish patterned slick finish. The Satellite T130 is also available in a third version featuring an exotic Luxe White Pearl with a pattern. When opened, the devices keep their design promise - the colour on the cover and patterns are also repeated inside the laptop.
On... and on... and on
With the Satellite T110 and Satellite T130, mobile users no longer need to worry about running out of battery when they are out and about. Despite its compact design the Satellite T110 offers a full working day's use on one battery charge, with up to 9 hours. The Satellite T130 runs even longer without having to recharge the battery - up to 11 hours, enough for the most demanding user.
Usability is enhanced by features like the full-size keyboard and a touch pad with Multi-Touch Control, that facilitates scrolling and other often used operational functions. And last but not least network configuration is no longer a challenge: with Toshiba ConfigFree users do not need any specialist knowledge to configure online access via WLAN, Bluetooth or Mobile Broadband.
Time to get organised...
Both new devices are equipped with a brand new, Toshiba-developed application suite called Toshiba LifeSpace. It puts an end to the unsystematic mess of shortcuts on users' computer desktops, and gives consumers a personalised approach to accessing their files, and organising daily activities or projects.
Sustainable and eco-friendly for a modern lifestyle
As a responsible global corporate citizen, Toshiba ensures that all laptops are RoHS-compliant, effectively reducing the environmental impact by restricting the use of lead, mercury and certain other hazardous substances. Additionally the Toshiba Eco utility helps to reduce power consumption, and makes users aware of the power their laptop is using. The Toshiba Satellite T110 and the Satellite T130 are ENERGY STAR 5.0 qualified.
